i have spent the last four years learning the new testament. believe me i know will never be able to absorb all the wisdom and knowledge contained in the gospels and the letters of paul. i wanted to put off the study of the old testament until i could devote all of my attention to such a major undertaking.i can see that understanding the first five books alone will probably take me a couple of years of intensive study.i have started a list of recommended professors and scholars. people like walter brueggemann,david carr, and ellen davis to name a few. i look forward to future correspondence with you or your staff. sincerely norman randolph
