My short article on a pun I identified in the Samson narrative is now published. If you are a member of the SBL you can download the volume at the SBL site and you can always find pre-publication versions and offprints of some of my writings on the “My Curriculum Vitae” page. Let me know what you think.

Fascinating read! I’ve never noticed the two points of view in the Samson pericope.
Is there a standard work on puns in the Hebrew Bible?

To my knowledge there is not really a handbook on puns in the Bible per se. However, Scott Noegel has probably done more in this area than any other modern scholar and some of his writings are available here: http://faculty.washington.edu/snoegel/pubs.html#Articles

I believe Scott is working on a monographic treatment of punning. At least, I think I read that in his book, Nocturnal Ciphers.

Congratulations! A neat and enjoyable piece of work, who can resist a good pun
