Since January has been proclaimed the International Biblical Studies Writing Month (hey, if Hallmark can claim all their holidays to boost card sales then we can claim a month too) here is my list of writing goals for this month (or so):

  • Review of:
  • Saul und David in der judaischen Geschichtesschreibung

  • Review of:
  • A Primer on Ugaritic

  • Complete the bibliography for the first edition of the cuneiform tablets I’m working on
  • Keep translating away at the tablets

I was a guinea pig for a few of the drafts of Bill and Joel’s primer. I’m interested in seeing you take on the book.

So far I’ve liked it quite a bit. What’s your take on it?

Good idea to include your bibliography as a writing project. I did that too so I don’t get too frustrated if I don’t make as much progress on the big project.
