I’ve updated the look and added a couple features to this website so if you normally read the posts through a reader and you have a few seconds to kill check out the site and let me know what you think.

Hi Charles – I really like what you’ve done to the place! The only thing I find mildly off-putting is that gently, insistently, but ultimately annoyingly animated arrow in the SlideShare widget. There was a reason why “blinking” HTML was universally castigated!
My reader (NetVibes) can toggle back and forth between “feed view” and “view as website.” In “feed view,” I get text-only, and only the first 55 words or so followed by {…}. In website-view, all the features of the site seem to come through just fine. Nice look!
Charles: The look is nice overall. I appreciate the minimalistic approach. however, the only problem I see is that your actual blog-entry window is pretty narrow. I’m personally not a fan of the long, narrow window of text. I’d prefer it to by about 30% wider. I’d also have to agree with David on the constantly blinking arrow. It continually draws the eye, distracting the reader from the blog text itself.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I’ll fiddle with things and see if I can make improvements.
