What do you mean by “opportunities”? Unfortunately, there has been no fieldwork there since 1990, before the Gulf War, and who knows if it will ever resume. Do you mean assyriology in general and the study of tablets in museums? Trust me, I would do anything to have a chance to do Mesopotamian excavation!
